Tea is the 2nd most consumed beverage globally after water, a lot of used tea leaves are produced everyday and eventually become a non-reusable edible material. Taiwan has a rich tea culture and produces many high-quality, award-winning teas and is also facing the issue of used tea leaves. We worked with experts in agricultural biotechnology to develop a product that addresses consumer needs and also gives used tea leaves another purpose.
